181. Inventory filters and T2 BPCs - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I have a filter set up to show only my T2 blueprints in my inventory for various reasons (most notably how awful the S&I interface itself is). I started the rather ignorant way: Group is Blueprints Name Contains II Fine, that works for modul...

182. POS Costing - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Running costs are pretty trivial to calculate now. 10/20/40 fuel blocks per hour for S/M/L towers or 240/480/960 blocks per day or 7200/14400/28800 blocks per month. Multiply that by the cost of fuel blocks -- and you're done. Charters are negligi...

183. New Data Sites *Big Problem* - in Science and Industry [original thread]
What a unique, insightful thread. What inspired you to write it? The added touch of putting it in Science & Industry was a blinding coup de grace to top it off; no one saw that coming!

184. T2 production - starting out - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I'd recommend at least considering buying some T2 component BPOs (and researching them if you haven't bought them already researched). You won't always want to build your own components but there are definitely times that's the best route to take.

186. Invention noob - need help - in Science and Industry [original thread]
A run is not the same as the output total. Look at the Produces line on top. Multiply that number by the number of runs on the BPC. That's the number of missiles you can get out of it.

189. Noob Probing Issues - in Science and Industry [original thread]
tl;dr: Filters. Don't use them. This is an incredibly common problem. The issue is your filters. The problem is: they're near useless. All sigs will show before you know their type; it's only when you narrow things enough to identify a site by ty...

192. Why are people scanning based on 2D planes, rather than 3D spaces? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Shrug. I like a 7 probe formation. I'll like it even better once it poops out all at once and snaps to formation; setup does take time but it consistently allows me to skip bands no matter what. Edit: why is this in science and industry?

Worth noting: ME research, PE research, and copy tasks are limited to BPOs. Invention is limited to BPCs. Either can run manufacturing jobs. So you cannot improve the ME/PE of a copy, nor can you make copies of copies, but you must make copies...

197. Understanding how to price a BPC - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Well, rule of thumb would be the max price anyone else who can do math would pay would be (sell price-build price)*# of runs. In general, I wouldn't pay more than half that amount for the print; at that point the manufacturer/seller is splitting p...
